Well, I was lovin’ this food processor until… …I removed the work bowl from the dishwasher last night and noticed a crack in the plastic that holds the locking pin and spring.I received the food processor on February 25th, a little over month ago. This unit was to replace my 9 cup Cuisinart, which I had had for over 3 years, and the bowl never cracked. I would never recommend this product This is not a commercial grade food processor. I used it for the simple task of shredding cheese, was sure not to overload it, and there were times when the motor completely stopped. The mechanism which keeps the blade in the bowl is more of a hinderance than an advantage, and the extra rubber seal around the rim of the lid is beyond silly. From a hygiene standpoint it can harbor bacteria if not cleaned thoroughly/properly, and is a hassle to remove, so it’s basically just another piece to…
Warning: this machine does not come with the continuous feed chute as you are misled to believe. It works well, but here is my issue: I wanted a machine with both the regular chute and the continuous feed chute. I watched the video of this machine and also the 2.5 qt. One of the videos said that the 3.5 qt machine comes with the continuous feed chute.
