Spode Christmas Tree Pepper Mill Since 2009 when manufacturing of Spode pieces moved from England to China the quality has been somewhat inconsistent but this pepper grinder is nicely made with no rough spots and the lithograph is buried sufficiently so it isnât felt under the glaze. Ceramic Pepper Mill Nice little Pepper Mill. Not exactly as pictured for the single Pepper Mill but seems to be well made. Decals and Lettering are centered and well covered under glaze. The mill has a ceramic mechanism for grinding that adjusts by turning the knob on top, like any mill. The grinder is secured with a substantial plastic ring.

This is a real bargain for these pieces as most stores do not carry the accessories and most of this stuff is insane expensive ! Ordered 2 sets as a gift and was very pleased with quality , price and shipping time .
