WARNING: Not As Strong As It Looks (nor is the warranty) While trying to pull a moderately stubborn cork (natural-type, not the plastic sort they warn you against), the handle of the corkscrew broke off at the midway point! I’ve had others that failed (gears slipped, and there’s no way to repair that) after a few years of use; but this is the first to fail so dangerously (luckily, my hand didn’t get cut, nor did the bottle fall and break). I wonât last. THATS A PROMISE! What a piece of junk. We only used it for 5 months. If memory serves me it truly stopped working after 2. We thought it was operator error but not do much. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere for a different knockoff. Iâm sure one is out there that works. If not buy the real deal from a true vendor. They got our money donât let them have yours. Awesome Great product for a great value. Bought the product for my home bar. It replaced my traditional cork screw and has really made life a lot easier. The foil cutter is a great added bonus and I find myself using it more than I had thought. The only downside is the product itself is a lot larger than a traditional corkscrew and it takes up a lot of storage space. That being said the stand/packaging makes it convenient to locate all the parts. Overall I am very pleased.
