pretty and lightweight for everyday dining If you buy this lovely set, donât buy as a warehouse deal. Some of the bowls had chipped edges. Corelle is excellent for a lightweight every day plate and I prefer it to heavier more expensive dishes. Wish they would come out with more trendy designs tho. This is a red orange pattern not a true red but very very pretty. Edges may discolor or chip easily with regular dishwasher use.
Shattered bowl This is Tylerâs girlfriend. These are not amazing quality. They have yet to chip, but I knocked a bowl off the counter and it shattered. Itâs not even that high of a fall. We bought these for the famous durability and they did not deliver. Pretty disappointed.
Get rid of those heavy dishes. I particularly like that these dishes are lightweight. The fact that theyâre attractive and sturdy is a plus. Good riddance to heavy stoneware dishes that chip. My mother had a large set of Corelle dishes that she used for many years and they still look like new. My sisterâs family is using them now. I highly recommend Corelle.
