They look great and don’t break. When I got married a few years ago we registered for expensive plates. That was a mistake. These things outlast a dog pushing them on the kitchen floor, a three year old, and a certifiable klutz. They don’t chip and they look great. Corelle dishes are boring. I should have bought these ten years ago. These plates are so boring. And we LOVE them.We registered for stoneware when we got married. Be Careful: Some Defective Livingware Is Out There (UPDATED to 4 stars) Bought during a Lightning Deal. Disappointed. 2 of the bowls (see photos) had obvious defective finishes. One bowl had tiny cracks in the finish on the interior of the bowl that were blacked underneath, almost like it was burnt. It’s even rough to the touch (as opposed to the smoothness of the rest of the surface). Another bowl had a small (about dime size in length, and about a centimeter in width) light brown stain on the interior of the bowl. Since this is a completely white set, both are…
