You can put ice in the tray below the serving dishes. Great for outdoor entertaining I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product. The price was so low, I was afraid it might not be sturdy, but It is very well made. I filled the lower tray with ice to keep the vegetables and dip nicely chilled for a party. The individual sections have drain holes to allow the moisture to drip below and the fit is snug over the tray so it won’t spill water when you are carrying the unit. Very attractive.
Awesome for Appetizers I’ve been looking for something to keep appetizers cold and I finally found it! This server is great for cold appetizers in the summer. The trays are the perfect size and the lids make it extra special. The only negative thing I can think of is that it takes up a lot of room in my cupboard but that’s just because I don’t have much space. I would highly recommend this server.

If the maker of this serving tray wanted a suggestion for improvement however, I would ask them to make the handles on the lids easier to grab a hold of. They easily slip off your fingers if you can even get a good grip on them in the first place.
