while nice for the first few months This kettle, while nice for the first few months, develops rust and leaks, creating a mess all over one’s kitchen counters.
Works, but temperature control can be a little finicky at times. Note to other reviewers/consumers: white deposits in the kettle are from your water and are not a result of the kettle decomposing.Works with no issues. Temperature hold can be a bit wonky at times, sometimes heating the kettle up a few degrees higher than the desired setting. However, since this is a kettle that heats itself up to a specified temperature rather accurately overall (I’ve tested with another thermometer) and quickly, that doesn’t really warrant a reduction of a star.

I like them and particularly like the programmable temperature feature as I prepare teas at different temperatures. When you first turn it on, it will flash the programmed temperature 5 times. This means the kettle will heat the water to that (set) temperature. It then flashes the current temperature of the water.
