Good pouring/electric kettle First of all, this is the ONLY pouring kettle I could find that is also an electric kettle, which is a great combination if you are in the market for both. Controlled Pour – Ease of Use Quick Review:Great value for pour over coffee, no plastic in boiling water. Poorly constructed. Good kettle, but its life is WAY too short for the cost. Our first one we returned immediately because strange spotting occurred on bottom of kettle after first use. We were told by Bonavita that this is “normal”. Okay. 2nd kettle did the same thing but we liked it so much we kept it. A year later, the spout (where it’s connected to the kettle itself) is leaking profusely. Unacceptable.
